Welcome back to Nate 90! My name is Nate Bate and I will be your 90 second host!
I think it might be one of the most frustrating parts of our life. You meet someone, and you think they are a terrific person. You want to spend more time with them, and you do.
Perhaps this goes on for a time.
And then it happens. A hard stop.
You find out there was more to the other person than you knew about. Something that is not pleasant to you. Not only is it not pleasant, but the other person has no plans to change.
What was an exciting new relationship is now a confusing and frustrating one. You have reached a hard stop.
My question for you today is, “How do you handle hard stops in your relationships?”
Do you try to manipulate the other person?
Do you get angry at them?
Do you start to push them to do what you want?
I could go on, but my goal is not to identify the possibilities. My goal is for you to think through how you handle a hard stop. And then, consider if that is how you should handle it.
